Sixth graders through adults have volunteer opportunities at VBS.  Students who have completed sixth or seventh grade may apply for our Counselor in Training (CIT) Program.  CITs have their own tween/teen VBS, shadow older, seasoned teen volunteers and help wth our end-of-camp programs.  Teens that have completed eigth gradeand are at least fourteen by the camp start date are eligible to apply for a Crew Keaer position ofr one or both camps.  Crew Leaders supervise four to six children and function as their Big Sister or Big Brother for the week.  Both programs have end-of-camp parties on the last day.  Pre-camp training and availability for the entire VBS wee are mandatory.  CITs pay a nominal fee and space is limited for both CIT and Crew Leader positions. Pre-camp training and availability for the entire VBS week are mandatory for Crew Leader positions.  Adults serve as Station Leaders for the week.  We also need adults for check-in on the first day, rovers during the week and extra hands during our end-of-camp program and celebration.  All volunteers must complete a 2009-2010 Christian Education Volunteer Information Form and all CITs and Crew Leaders must fill out a CIT/Crew Leader Application Form.
