The Worship Ministry, under the direction and with the approval of the Council of Elders, recommends and implements the conduct of public worship in the following areas:

• liturgy
• sacraments and ordinances
• music
• ushering
• matters relating to special services and arrangements.

The Worship Ministry meets:

WHEN: The second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. following the devotion in the McCune Chapel

Changes in Communion  We are going “green!”  A suggestion came to the Worship Ministry to have communion by intinction every first Sunday of the month, instead of the first Sunday of every other month.  We liked the idea!  Part of the reasoning is that we are trying to cut back on disposable, non biodegradable materials.  The symbolism behind coming forward to receive communion and experiencing a new covenant with Christ, and then leaving with a blessing is another factor.  Communion will still be offered in the pews to those individuals choosing to have communion there.  Please know that all people are invited to share in communion at The Peoples Church.
