The Peoples Church Adult Education Committee strives to provide a variety of quality Christian education programs that appeal to a diverse adult population.  The programs primarily focus on five specific areas:

1. Theology
2. Bible Study
3. Pastoral Care
4. Social, Cultural, and Environmental Issues
5. The Study and Understanding of all World Religions

Most programs take place on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings during the academic year from September to May.  Ordained clergy within our church and the surrounding communities lead some of our classes.  Members of our church also lead small group studies and discussion groups.
The Adult Education Committee is a dedicated group of members who plan, organize, coordinate, and lead adult education classes.  In addition to the above mentioned programs, the committee plans special events such as forums, movie nights, retreats, Holy Land tours and spirituality groups.  The committee welcomes all who are committed to the adult education goals and purpose and are willing to take an active role in our programs.  To become involved in the programs or committee, please call the church office at 332-5073.

The Christian Education Ministry, under the direction and with the approval of the Council of Elders, recommends and implements Christian educational policies and standards for the church school children, youth and adult programs.

WHEN: The second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. following the devotion in the McCune chapel
