Participation on the Fellowship Committee allows individuals to suggest and coordinate opportunities for meaningful spiritual fellowship for all members of the congregation.  The committee generally meets on a monthly basis to enjoy an evening of friendship and to plan and arrange volunteer assistance for various events.  The committee encourages attendance to exciting events such as the fall chicken dinner, the chili cook-off, summer baseball teams, and various other dinners and outings including an MSU women’s basketball game and an annual outing to a Lansing Lugnuts game.  These events present many opportunities to share fun times with family and friends and meet new people.

The committee is also responsible for creating a schedule for hosting fellowship time at the coffee hour following church services.  The Fellowship Committee may also encourage other groups to have a fellowship component to what they do.  So, join the committee, or join the fellowship… it’s a good time.
