Rev. Penny Swartz - Acting Senior Pastor

Bio: Penny was born and raised in California.  In 1973 she graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.  She experienced a life altering call to the ministry during a trip to Israel in 1990.  She began seminary studies at United Theological Seminary, New Brighton, MN and Lansing, MI before becoming Associate Pastor here in June 2002.  Penny is also a trained Spiritual Director.  She and her husband, Mike, have four children between them.

Rev. Dr. Gary Autry - Acting Associate Pastor

Bio: Gary was born and raised in Missouri.  In 1976 he graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  After working in the family business and attending a Baptist church for eleven years, he entered the ministry by attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO.  He received his Master of Divinity degree in 1990 and completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1993 at the same institution. Gary has served churches in Faucett, MO, Atchison, KS, Royal Oak and Ferndale, MI.  He became Campus Minister here in November 2004.  Gary is also a trained Interim Minister. He has two sons and a daughter-in-law.
