The Peoples Church of East Lansing, Michigan is currently seeking a new Senior Pastor, since our present Senior Pastor is retiring soon. Our church is an interdenominational church which is affiliated with four protestant denominations: United Methodist Churches, American Baptist Churches USA, Presbyterian Churches USA, and United Church of Christ.

We are seeking a senior pastor who will be a strong, inspiring, and engaging orator, energetic and progressive. This person will have excellent leadership and administrative skills, and be a team builder with demonstrated experience in building a church community that empowers us to discern and do God’s will in our global community. This candidate will be sensitive to the needs of families and children and be involved in ministry to meet their needs. This candidate will be involved in community outreach locally and globally. Our senior pastor will be deeply committed to Christ and to the Church, a warm and enthusiastic “people person” who desires to know us and who will find joy in ministering to our congregation.
