Action of Greater Lansing Social Justice Team

The Peoples Church is an Action church. Action of Greater Lansing – A Gamaliel Affiliate is an ecumenical organization working for peace and social justice in our world. Seven diverse congregations in the greater Lansing area, including Peoples Church, have come together to address systemic social issues that have adverse impacts within our community.

 

  Through an annual 3-step process of listening, research and direct action, the congregations determine what's needed for the community and bring together thousands of people every year to secure commitments for necessary action from public officials. All members of our congregation are invited to become involved.
