Sunday School

Lorrie Schartow is the Director of Children’s Christian Education. She graduated from MSU with a BA in Child Development and Elementary Education and later earned a Masters in Family Studies. She began working at The Peoples Church in November, 2010. She has raised 5 children and has 7 grandchildren who are the loves of her life.

Sunday School classes take place from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (during the 10:30 worship service) September through May in our “All New” Sunday School Classrooms. Infants and Toddlers enjoy free play in an age appropriate room and 3-year olds through 5th graders receive a Bible lesson each Sunday. Families are encouraged to worship together during the summer but for those children who can't quite make it through church, we offer child care from Memorial Day to Labor Day during our 9:30 AM Summer Worship for ages infant through age 5.
